- About Me:
- I am a school librarian at Graland Country Day School in Denver, CO. I started working in a school (Centennial High School) library my senior year in high school (1990). After I graduated hs & throughout college I worked at the Champaign Public Library in Champaign, IL. I then went to grad school to get my M.L.I.S. at Dominican University in River Forest, IL. While in grad school I worked at the Aurora University Library in Aurora, IL and at the Bartlett Public Library in Bartlett, IL. After grad school I moved to Denver, CO and went to work at the Denver Public Library (downtown/main branch) in the General Reference & Non-fiction Dept. I left DPL to begin my career as a school library teacher at Graland in 2002. I am now the Head Librarian at Graland; teaching 2nd & 4th grade library classes & info literacy/research skills to grades 5-8. Love my job!
